Like many childhood homes, PS122’s building in the East Village had door frame in the housemanager’s office where staff members would measure their height. I don’t know how they did it but the tech crew somehow cut the wood out and saved it before the renovation. I don’t think this item would fetch much money if we tried to auction it off but it’s fun to look at the varied heights of our staff. And I’m confused about this: Box Office Manager Chris Walters and I have multiple heights marked? Did we grow during our employ – or perhaps just slouched?
