Programs
The Presenting Series makes up the bulk of our season. Featuring significant performances by emerging artists or new work by established artists, the series is curated by Artistic Director Vallejo Gantner up to a year in advance.
Avant-Garde-Arama is P.S. 122's longest-running series, a bi-annual multidisciplinary mini-festival of short works. Avant-Garde-Arama (or AGA) features the best short experimental works from anywhere in the city in any discipline from artists both emerging and established. Acts need to be complete, off the wall and done in under 10 minutes. AGA also features "Forty Second Street" during intermission where audience members can sign up to perform whatever they want for forty seconds.This series is curated by Salley May and Avant-Garde-Arama Committee.
