OPPORTUNITY: Performance Space 122 seeks interns in Video/Creative Technology
TIME: On-going
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR: An intern to assist with video documentation and post-production of live performances at PS122. The position involves everything from camera work, to editing, to managing web content. Video editing/web experience is a plus but can be taught to the right candidate. WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR: Candidate must be motivated, work quickly and independently, with an interest in non-profit arts administration, fundraising, data managing, event planning and advocacy. He or she must have intimate knowledge of Word and Excel, be detail oriented, have very strong organizational skills, and possess a desire to understand the ins and outs of development, fundraising and grassroots cultural organizing. WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR: Candidate must be motivated, work quickly and independently, with an interest in any of the following areas: arts administration, communications/press, social media, or sales. He or she must have intimate knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel, and be very internet-saavy. Candidate must be detail oriented, have very strong organizational skills, and possess a desire to understand the ins and outs of audience development, marketing/sales, and grassroots cultural organizing. Ideally available a minimum of 10-15 hours per week during office hours with flexibility for the right person. OPPORTUNITY: Performance Space 122 seeks interns in Institutional Giving

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR: Candidates should be detail oriented, flexible and able to work independently with strong writing skills. The position will focus on stewardship, tracking and reporting on grants from New York, National and International Funders who support presenting and commissioning of live performance, digital media and capital campaigns. Ideal candidates will be able to work in our Greenpoint offices one to two days a week with some flexibility. OPPORTUNITY: Performance Space 122 seeks Interns in Artistic Programming

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR: Ideal candidates must be motivated, work quickly and independently, with an interest in not-for-profit producing and arts management. He or she must have intimate knowledge of Microsoft Suite, specifically Word and Excel, have excellent oral and written communication skills, and be knowledgeable in respect to the contemporary performing arts. Candidates must also be detail oriented, organized, and possess a desire to understand the ins and outs of line-producing. Internship is 20 hours per week, and schedule is flexible based upon the needs of the individual and the department. OPPORUNITY: COIL Festival Intern
TIME: September – January
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR: Performance Space 122 is currently accepting applications for interns in the Programming Department to assist with all aspects of the annual COIL festival. Interns are an integral part of the festival and will interact with all internal departments in the the lead up to the festival.

Interns will be involved in projects and tasks including: artist hospitality, travel planning, marketing and press coordination and administrative duties. The internship is ideal for candidates with an interest in non-profit producing, especially those interested in contemporary work. He or she must be detailed oriented, organized, posses intimate knowledge of Microsoft Suite, specifically Word and Excel and have excellent oral and written communication skills. The internship is part-time and flexible based on the needs of the department and the individual. During the festival, the internship becomes full-time.

COIL is Performance Space 122’s annual mid-winter festival of contemporary performance from New York City and around the globe. Coinciding with the annual APAP (Association of Performing Arts Presenters) conference, the festival is now in its ninth year.
