OPPORTUNITY: Performance Space 122 seeks Interns Programming
TIME: Positions are available for Fall Season: mid-September 2017 through January 2018; and Spring Season: January through June 2018.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR: Performance Space 122’s Programming Internship provides the opportunity to learn about the operations of a non-profit live performance institution. Programming Interns will support the Senior Producer with the planning, administration and execution of its artistic programs, while working alongside some of today’s most exciting contemporary artists.

Interns should be motivated, organized, have a sense of humor, and an interest in arts management/administration. Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and GoogleDocs is required. Commitment is a minimum of two full work-days, with occasional evening hours for special events as needed. Programming Interns receive a small stipend, monthly metro cards, and free admission to Performance Space 122’s 2017-18 season. Applicants from all backgrounds are encouraged to apply. WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR: Candidate must be motivated, work quickly and independently, with an interest in any of the following areas: arts administration, communications/press, social media, or sales. He or she must have intimate knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel, and be very internet-saavy. Candidate must be detail oriented, have very strong organizational skills, and possess a desire to understand the ins and outs of audience development, marketing/sales, and grassroots cultural organizing. Ideally available a minimum of 10-15 hours per week during office hours with flexibility for the right person. Please send resumes and cover letters to jeso@ps122.org. OPPORTUNITY: Performance Space 122 seeks interns in Institutional Giving
TIME: Rolling
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR: Candidates should be detail oriented, flexible and able to work independently with strong writing skills. The position will focus on stewardship, tracking and reporting on grants from New York, National and International Funders who support presenting and commissioning of live performance, digital media and capital campaigns. Ideal candidates will be able to work in our Greenpoint offices one to two days a week with some flexibility. Please send a resume, cover letter and one writing sample to paula@ps122.org. OPPORTUNITY: Performance Space 122 seeks interns in Video/Creative Technology
TIME: On-going
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR: An intern to assist with video documentation and post-production of live performances at PS122. The position involves everything from camera work, to editing, to managing web content. Video editing/web experience is a plus but can be taught to the right candidate. Please email alex@ps122.org. This position is currently unpaid but offers a great way to build your skills/portfolio and connect with the NYC non-profit artistic community.
